JURU: Naza Eastern Motors, the official distributor of Suzuki cars in Malaysia, has strengthened its presence in the northern region with the opening of Suzuki Juru, a new authorised dealership in Bukit Mertajam.
Operated by SMG Auto Sdn Bhd, the 1,600sq ft (149sq m) 1S dealership represents an investment of RM1mil, which includes a display floor that can accommodate up to three vehicles and a lounge area.
The new outlet, which also provides test-drive units, is also said to have been strategically located to serve customers in Juru, Bukit Mertajam and the surrounding areas to help provide easier access to the Japanese brand's latest models.
As a 1S dealership, Suzuki Juru will focus on vehicle sales, while after-sales support is provided by Suzuki Bayan Lepas service centre at Jalan Sungai Tiram 7.
Naza Automotive Group chief executive officer Mohd Rizal Jailan said the opening marked another step in strengthening Suzuki's presence in the northern region.
"he investment in this new dealership reflects our confidence in the market and our commitment to providing customers with greater accessibility to Suzuki vehicles,"he said.
Rizal added that Juru and Bukit Mertajam were strategically important areas with growing populations and strong connectivity that present strong potential for the brand.
With the opening of Suzuki Juru, Suzuki now has 14 authorised sales outlets and 13 service centres nationwide.

Customers requiring after-sales support can visit Suzuki Bayan Lepas service centre at 21, Jalan Sungai Tiram 7, Bayan Lepas.
