KUALA LUMPUR: Following the liberalisation of the motor insurance sector on July 1, AmGeneral Insurance has redefined its comprehensive motor insurance plan with the introduction of Auto365 Comprehensive Premier.

According to AmGeneral Insurance CEO Derek Roberts, the liberalisation of the sector had created an opportunity for the company to innovate since last year and consequently, it rolled out Auto365 along with its suite of products.

The new motor insurance plan is touted by the company to provide the widest protection for customers with its all-risk features.

This includes accidental damage, damage caused by accidental theft, additional drives, 200km towing assistance, compassionate allowance for loss of vehicle and three years warranty for workmanship.

An optional partial cover for convulsions of nature is also available.

In conjunction with the launch, the company also took the opportunity to introduce a refreshed version of its mascot, agent Max.

"With Auto365, AmGeneral Insurance continues to constantly innovate our products and provide quality services to customers. We are now perfectly positioned to deliver the best service and value to customers via our trusted network of 7,000 agents and partners nationwide," said Derek.

The company currently has a network of 32 insurance branches servicing 7,000 agents and partners nationwide.
