PETALING JAYA: India-based Apollo Tyres has launched its first Apollo Truck Tyre Zone (ATTZ) in Batu Pahat, Johor, a one-stop centre that caters to commercial fleets.
Equipped with modern automotive technologies, the centre is managed by Sin Chu Hin, one of the top tyre dealers in the southern region. The partnership is the first for Apollo Tyres outside India.
Apart from providing application-based tyre recommendation, the ATTZ is equipped with facilities such as a computerised truck tyre alignment machine, automatic tyre changer, nitrogen inflator and the full range of tyre-related services for trucks and buses.
Apollo Tyres said its services would reduce customers’ maintenance cost and fuel consumption. The ATTZ also has knowledgeable staff to guide consumers through their purchase decision.
“We see a vast opportunity in Batu Pahat especially in truck radials. The ATTZ is the first of several truck service centres that we are planning to open with business partners in the Asean region,” said Apollo Tyres group head (Asean, Middle East and Africa) Shubhro Ghosh.
To mark the opening of the tyre shop, Apollo Tyres is offering vouchers to customers with every purchase of its tyres. The ATTZ will also offer special service packages.
