KUALA LUMPUR: Excitement is in the air for Aston Martin and its Malaysian distributor, Wearnes as it showcased a new showroom and also, the DB11, the car James Bond drove in the film, Spectre.

The DB11 goes on sale at a price of RM2mil.

Built upon a new lighter, stronger, and more space efficient bonded aluminium structure, DB11 is the most powerful, most efficient and most dynamically gifted DB model in Aston Martin’s history.

DB11 showcases a fresh and distinctive design language, pioneering aerodynamics and is driven by a powerful new in-house designed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine delivering a top speed of 322kph and a 0-100kph time of just 3.9 seconds.

The state-of-the-art showroom presents the Aston Martin models in a gallery-style space, with a dedicated customer lounge and private rooms where customers can tailor their new car to the exact specification of their selection through the Q by Aston Martin personalisation service.

To officially mark the opening of the dealership, Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur held an event for customers and prospects, where DB11 took pride of place on its showroom floor.

First local deliveries of the DB11 are scheduled to begin at the end of 2016.
