WINDHOEK (Namibia): Four Audis, a drone and a desert. If you must, call it trivial pursuit but Audi engineers recently set out to create four giant rings in the desert sand, which reminded us of the Jaguar publicity stunt on a Welsh beach we told you about on Monday.
The outing called for precise co-ordination of the four e-tron prototypes in the vast expanse of the Kalahari Desert. Needless to say, the engineers didn't get it right the first time.
They finally got the Audi logo imprint right on the second try and this was done in 30s. Quite a neat trick really, which Audi was eager to share in the clip below that was posted up on YouTube last week.
