Castrol offers free insurance cover for motorcyclists if they buy selected products

KUALA LUMPUR: Castrol has announced the introduction of a free insurance policy for motorcyclists earlier this month.

It is a comprehensive personal coverage Castrol has put together with partners MCIS Life insurer, fintech company Zensung and Standard Chartered Bank.

The policy is given for every purchase of Castrol Activ or Castrol Activ Essential products from Castrol workshops or official online stores.

The policy provides one month of complimentary coverage for accidental death or total permanent disability (up to RM4,000) and funeral expenses (up to RM1,000), for a total value of RM5,000.

Bikers can hold up to three active policies at the same time.

The application process is as follows:

> Buy Castrol Activ or Castrol Activ Essential
> Scan QR code at participating outlets or use the code included with online purchases.
> Upload the receipt and provide required details to the Castrol Protect portal.
