Auto Bavaria Glenmarie relocates to Ara Damansara, PJ

Auto Bavaria bids farewell to its Glenmarie site.


SHAH ALAM: Auto Bavaria Glenmarie has relocated from here to Ara Damansara in Petaling Jaya.

Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara 4S will represent the BMW, MINI, Motorrad brands as well as used vehicles. Spanning over 23,161 square metres and built at a cost of RM57mil, it is the largest BMW dealership in South-East Asia. It will open for business from Nov 25.

Its workshop capabilities is said to be doubled that of the former Glenmarie facility. Auto Bavaria is expected to release further details on its new facility soon.

“It is really important to celebrate the legacy and milestones of Auto Bavaria Glenmarie to ensure that the united spirit among our employees transitions over when we begin a new chapter at the new facility in November," said current Auto Bavaria managing director Jeffrey Gan.

Auto Bavaria, owned by the Sime Darby group, has been a major dealership for BMW and its sub-brands for 30 years.

To mark the relocation, Auto Bavaria organised a bash at its Glenmarie site with a Deepavali theme.

Over 400 guests were invited and they included employees and former dealer principals.

Among those present were Sime Darby Motors managing director Andrew Basham and past managing directors of Auto Bavaria namely Wong Soon Foo (1992), Rajan Thurairatnam (2001) and Tunku Badlishah Tunku Annuar (2005).
