KUALA LUMPUR: To commemorate the start of Bentley Asia Pacific's ‘Be Extraordinary Tour’, the company unveiled the Mulsanne Speed, limited edition Continental GT V8 S ‘X’ and Bentayga with carbon fibre Styling Specification.

Making its Malaysian debut is the Mulsanne Speed priced from RM2,588,000 and featuring a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 537PS and 1,100Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-100kph in 4.9 seconds and onwards to 305kph.


The ultra-luxurious Speed comes equipped with a selectable sports suspension, 21-inch hand-finished ‘Speed’ alloys, dark tinted front and rear lamps, rifled sports exhausts and ‘Speed’ badges on the fenders.

Inside, it boasts of the Mulliner Driving Specification that comes as standard and adds on diamond-quilted seats, a knurled gear knob, drilled alloy sport pedals and an optional carbon fibre waist rail inserts.

The more sportier and compact special edition Continental GT V8 S ‘X’ with a starting price of RM1,728,000 receives the Blackline kit and Carbon Fibre styling.

This means it gets slapped with dark tinted front and rear lamps, black door glass surround and carbon fibre door mirrors, while rolling on 21-inch Gloss Black five twin-spoke directional wheels.

The lower body styling features of the car has improved the car’s aerodynamics by reducing front-end light, increasing stability at higher speeds, while Black Wing Vents reside behind the front wheels.

Additionally, the illuminated treadplates bear the brand’s name that light-up automatically upon opening the door.

The Bentayga sport utility vehicle (SUV), with a base price of RM1,749,000, gets featured with a carbon fibre Styling Specification, which uses specially commissioned high gloss black carbon fibre parts for the exterior.

The hand-crafted parts have a unique weave pattern which have been mirror-matched like the internal veneer and consists of a front splitter and air blades, rear diffuser and spoiler, mirror cowls, the Flying ‘B’ wing vents and a pair of deployable sill steps.


The tour is located at the Bentley Kuala Lumpur showroom on Jalan Pinang and is open to the public on Oct 25 (9am to 6pm) to 26 (2pm to 6pm) before heading to Taiwan.

Visitors will get a glimpse of the brand’s racing heritage, craftsmanship and the people that have helped make the brand with the Flying ‘B’ what it is today.

This involves a personal introduction that allows them to discover the process of sourcing for flawless hides to the meticulous handcrafting skills required to hand-stitch a steering wheel of a Mulsanne.
