BEIJING: A sculpture exhibition displaying international figures in the world of automobiles has opened here.

The exhibition consists of 20 figures who played an important role in world automobile development over the last century.

Founder of the Ford Motor Company Henry Ford and Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher are included among the figures.

Entry to the exhibition, which opened Saturday at the Beijing auto Museum, is free. The figures will become part of the museum's collection.

Yang Rui, curator of the museum, said the exhibition is aimed at bridging automobile history and modern culture with the help of the works. — Xinhua
