China's GAC Motor picks up eighth consecutive award in recent JD Power study

GUANGZHOU (China) JD Power recently published its 2020 China Initial Quality Study (IQS) report and has revealed that GAC Motor has emerged as the China brand champion for the eighth consecutive year.

GAC Motor had its compact GS3 sports utility vehicle ranking first in its segment, while the GN6 multi-purpose vehicle ranked second.

JD Power in China is a third-party survey authority which provides budding owners with a reference for purchasing cars.

The study covered 241 models over 57 brands and has identified 218 issues of initial quality, recorded 32,536 users' feedback as well as showcased brand trust and reliability.

It was this year that GAC Motor initiated the high Quality, high Durability and high Reliability (QDR) project.

The GS3 is said to provide customers with high-tech and high-quality mobility solution that's matched with a stately appearance and accompanied by a high-tech interior design as well as a comfortable driving experience with good levels of control.

Ranking second in its segment, the GN6 was said to have combined quality, fashion, spaciousness, comfort, intelligence and safety into a very attractive package.

The Chinese carmaker says that its GN6 is the go-to choice when looking to provide a high-end business reception that's also suitable for family leisure and can also cater to a diverse spectrum of consumer needs.

At present, GAC Motor is present in 26 countries and regions around the world.
