PARIS: Motorcycle owners hoping to test their pride and joy on some faraway race track are often faced with a challenge: Do I return home afterwards or find a place to stay nearby?

French manufacturer Citroen has a solution. Their new Jumper Biker van, made in collaboration with the motor home manufacturer Flexebu, updates the standard Citroen Jumper transporter to include space for two motorcycles and a sleeping area.

A kitchen block with a fridge is also available in the diesel vehicle, with additional cabinets providing storage space for accessories such as helmets and luggage.

The fold-down sleeping berths can also be extended to host up to four people with an optional pop-up roof. Using a rail system and an electric winch, two motorcycles can be brought on board and secured in the rear of the 6-metre-long vehicle.

Since all furniture can be removed, you can quickly convert the Jumper Biker into a normal van and maximise its storage potential.

Prices for the model, which goes on show at the Caravan Salon in Duesseldorf from Aug 25 to Sept 2, start from 54,264 euros (RM259,000).
