PETALING JAYA: A group of Malaysians, known as the #Live2Drive team, made the brave journey on road from Malaysia to Europe, spanning 30 countries, using the Trans-Siberian Highway in their classic Volkswagens (three Microbus and a Beetle) were given a warm reception by Continental Tyres Malaysia (CTM).

CTM supplied the tyres for the #Live2Dream team which used the ComfortContact 6 (CC6) and UltraContact 6 (UC6).
The #Live2Drive team spent eight months during this long and hard journey and spent 607 hours driving with over 52,000km of road travel.

“I am a complete believer of Continental tyres because we used these tyres through all sorts of terrain - desert, icy roads and off-road - during our journey and I only changed one tyre throughout this trip and that was because of a puncture. Our cars kept breaking down but we never had problems with the tyres,” said #Live2Drive member Stephen Pang who drove a Microbus.

We are also delighted that the robustness and durability of Continental tyres have successfully taken the #Live2Drive team safely across various terrains and roads which can get rough at places.”

Also present were market manager for CTM, Frederic Quaranta and #Live2Drive members Cliften Nathaniel and Terence Moses.
