End 2016 with 5-sen lower fuel prices

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will see a 5 sen reduction across the board in December.

RON95 petrol is set to retail at RM1.90 per litre (from RM1.95 previously) while RON97 is now priced at RM2.25 (from RM2.30).

Additionally, diesel is priced at RM1.85 per litre (from RM1.90).

Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Nor Manshor Abdul Ghafar confirmed the new prices when contacted by The Star Online.

Fuel prices saw a 15 sen increase across the board in November.

The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry decided to set the prices of petrol and diesel on a managed float system from Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
