Exuding bold styling and sophisticated elegance inside and out, the EV9 re-envisions the all-electric SUV with a unique balance of natural and modern elements.

The EV9 has a wheelbase of 3,100mm, an overall length of 5,010mm, width of 1,980mm and height of 1,755mm.

Meanwhile, the rear gets the “Star Map” LED daytime running lights (DRL) taillights that creates a sophisticated animated lighting pattern that gives the vehicle an instant recognisable look.

For the GT-line variant, its design features a unique aesthetic where the front and rear bumpers, wheels and roof rack get a distinctive black colour palette that exudes a strong and assertive presence.

The EV9's interior design is tailored to elevate the experience for millennial families, emphasising space, adaptability, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.

Its long wheelbase, low beltline and flat electric vehicle architecture are the key elements that contribute to the generous interior space.

Aside from its spacious, light and airy cabin with leatherette upholstery, the EV9 embodies an elegantly simple, premium quality and user-friendly design created using recycled materials.

Its floating panoramic dashboard, which extends from the steering wheel to the centre of the vehicle, houses two 12.3-inch screens.

The infotainment supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fast wireless smartphone charger, and USB-C ports for charging, while the second and third rows also feature USB-C chargers.

In addition to the 14-speaker Meridian surround audio system, ambient mood lights are applied at the front and rear armrests and top of the map pocket to provide different lighting functions.

The first EV9 is also the first to feature fourth-generation battery technology designed for improved energy density.

The EV9’s powertrain is powered by a high-voltage battery pack of 99.8kWh, paired with dual electric motors that delivers 380hp and 700Nm of torque to all wheels.

Range is estimated at 505km and the EV9 can be fully charged in 10 hours and 30 minutes using 11kW AC power.

With 350kW DC, the EV9 gets charged from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes.

Its Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) charging system enables the vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, which is capable of discharging energy from the vehicle battery.

The V2L function can supply up to 3.6kWh of power and is capable of operating lifestyle electronic accessories.

Standard safety features include 10 SRS airbags (Front Driver & Passenger, Driver Knee, Side, Curtain and Centre Side), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Safe Exit Assist (SEA) system which automatically provides a warning and locks the door if an approaching vehicle from the rear side is detected within the blindspot.
