PETALING JAYA: A RM400,000 Ford Mustang driven by drama producer Datuk A. Aida was dented after being involved in an accident near Ajil, Hulu Terengganu, on Saturday.

She was on her way to attend the funeral of her step-sister, Kosmo! Ahad reported.

Aida, whose real name is Zaidah Awang, said she was thankful that no one was injured.

“I was driving slowly as it was raining. Suddenly, a car overtook me and water splashed on my windscreen. I panicked as I could not see anything in front of me,” she explained.

As a result, the Mustang ended up crashing into a road divider.

The fully imported Mustang is sold in two versions in Malaysia. A new 2.3-litre EcoBoost Mustang is priced at around RM460,000, while the 5.0-litre V8 Mustang GT 5.0 is priced at RM566,000. The facelifted Mustang is expected to arrive locally later this year.
