'Fuel happy' with Petron

GENTING HIGHLANDS: Petron says it's putting its customers first with the launch of its new campaign called "Fuel Happy". The campaign will give customers a surprise treat every week beginning in April and ends on December 2015.

And it wouldn’t be a surprise if you knew what’s coming, so the only way to find out is to visit your nearest Petron station.

“Through Fuel Happy, we aim to strengthen and elevate service excellence at each and every station as we strive to make Petron the brand of choice," said Petron Malaysia retail head Faridah Ali.

“It is already a given that we have world-class fuels, but what differentiates Petron is the care and personal touch that our customers experience whenever they go to our stations.”

The Fuel Happy campaign is also another way Petron is showing gratitude to its nearly 2 million loyal Petron Miles members who earn points for every transaction made.

Besides the campaign, Petron also announced its completion of its rebranding and upgrading programme.

Around 550 stations, formerly under the Esso and Mobil banners, now carry Petron’s distinct red and blue colours, have upgraded facilities, and are now offering Petron’s  fuels and services.

All Petron stations now offer personalised services such as the cleaning of windshields and tyre shine as added value.

Petron said its service attendants are ready to assist motorists, even during emergencies since all Petron stations have joined the government’s “United Against Crime” project. The stations are also kept clean and well-lit to ensure the safety of customers.

“We are entering an exciting phase since our newly transformed stations serve as touch points where we can live and share the Petron experience with every motorist,” said Faridah.

Petron has also partnered with local coffee makers to offer freshly-brewed coffee to customers as they travel through cities like Ipoh, Johor Baru, Kuantan, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Petron completed 10 new stations in 2014 and 20 more are in various stages of construction. It now has 560 service stations nationwide.
