PETALING JAYA: Chinese New Year is around the corner. Like every car maker trying to boost sales during festive occasions, the Nissan distributor is doing it through the traditional dealership channel.
On top of that, it has come out with a Nissan promotional clip that centres around family during the Chinese New Year.
Five models are featured in the “My One Better Than Your One” film namely the X-Trail, Serena S-Hybrid, Grand Livina, Almera and Navara. Frankly, it's unrealistic to imply that every car-buying adult in a typical Malaysian family would get just Nissan cars.
But, hey, this is a Nissan production presented by Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd, and it is paying for the right to stuff it with its range of cars.
As the title suggests, the video is about sibling rivalry and how blood is thicker than water to surmount ill feelings in the larger interest of keeping the family tight. The film focuses on the message of humility, harmony, and to always cherish loved ones. All very heart-warming, whichever festivity such type of car film is played out.
In the end, Edaran Tan Chong Motor is using this film to soft-sell the range of models in its line-up.
