PETALING JAYA: Proton has completed the updating of the prices for its six models that include the sales and service tax (SST).

The domestic carmaker first updated the pricing of the Saga, Exora and Exora shortly after the SST exemption expired on June 30.

In the latest round, it proceeded to revise the pricing of the Iriz, Persona and X50 to complete the exercise.

Depending on model, the increase in prices vary from a modest RM400 (Saga) to as much as RM10,000 (X50). The percentage increase was from 1.13% to 10.02%.
