HondaTouch app introduced for Malaysians

PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia has introduced its latest digital feature - the HondaTouch application (app) that's been touted to offer feature-packed convenience.

The app, which is available for download for free via Apple App Store and Google Play Store, looks to provide added convenience for customers, dealers and the company with 10 distinct features.

The app is seen as a platform to ease an owner’s ability to access their vehicle and its information at their fingertips.

The ten distinct features include Service Appointment Booking, Service Appointment Reminder, Real-Time Service Status Tracking, Service History, and Find Your Nearest Dealer.

Through a complete dealer listing in the application, Honda owners can also directly make service appointments with their preferred dealers for added convenience.

Dealers will be alerted, and confirmation of appointments will be sent to the owners via the application.

A pop-up notification will appear on their smartphones as a reminder to the owners.

Owners can also keep tabs on all information regarding their vehicle(s) such as service appointment reminder, service status tracking and vehicle service history.

An important feature of the app is its one-stop feature for Emergency Assistance.

In the event of a breakdown or accident, owners can contact the roadside assistance service through the application for immediate assistance.

Owners will be able to receive notifications such as reminders for their insurance renewal through the app.

The app can be registered by non-Honda customers who can receive promotions, events and updates (just like an owner) from the company.

A new car pre-booking feature has been added to the app - the first digital pre-booking platform for Honda Malaysia.

This hassle-free feature enables customers to place a booking for their preferred model via the app without having to visit a dealership.

Lastly, both Honda and non-Honda customers can use the Contact Us feature in the application make inquire about their vehicle, services, promotions or any activities by Honda Malaysia.
