Improved Caltex petrol unveiled

By CARSIFU | 5 May 2016

SUBANG JAYA: Chevron's new Caltex with Techron petrol formulation has been upgraded with Clean & Glide technology that further improves engine protection and increases power.

The new active ingredients helps to reduce friction and thus wear and tear in key engine components.

With smoother running, the engine gets better fuel economy and delivers optimum performance.

The new formulation instantly reduces friction on the upper cylinder area of the engine and with regular usage, will replenish the friction modifiers in the engine lubricants that are consumed during normal running.

Stringent laboratory tests along with some 600,000km of real world fleet tests had been conducted to ensure the formulation provides optimum results for everyday motorists.

The new formulation can reduce internal engine friction by 41% and component wear by 38% compared with the previous formulation.
