Taking centrestage at Perodua's showcase themed "Illumination", the futuristic vehicle in hatchback guise, features an LED-illuminated grille with Perodua logo, low-set Y-shaped LED headlamps, dynamic pulse turn indicators and rear-hinged back doors.
The car also does not have a B-pillar to make entry and exit easier.
Said to be designed by local talents for the tech-savvy generation, the X-Concept comes with an advanced-looking dashboard that has a TFT instrument panel, a 12.9-inch central touchscreen and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
"The Perodua X-Concept is much more than a vehicle in the accepted sense. It is the manifestation of Perodua's vision of the future where cars are lifestyle statements first, means of transportation second, and bristling with connected technology," said Perodua president and CEO Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.

Also making its debut is the Myvi GT which explores a sportier version of the current generation Myvi.
Under this design exercise, the Myvi GT gets more aggresive front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches, upgraded brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, Alcantara bucket seats, and flat-bottom steering wheel.
Perodua is also giving a sneak preview of its up-coming offering which is placed inside a special enclosure with peepholes to view specific parts of the product.
Other items include a showcase of a next generation powertrain by Daihatsu, Perodua's technical partner, and fun games and contests.
