HONG KONG: The aviation-themed Lamborghini Huracan Avio is now availabler for booking here. It's a limited edition car based on the LP 610-4 model and only 250 units are available worldwide.
The special edition's name, colours and materials pay tribute to the world of aviation and aeronautics. Priced at nearly HK$4.5mil (RM2.4mil), it comes in a standard body colour of Grigio Falco with a pearlescent finish. If that's not good enough, optional colours with a matte finish are offered - Grigio Vulcano (dark gray), Blu Grifo (blue), Verde Turbine (green) and Grigio Nibbio (light grey).
The Huracán Avio has all the technical specifications that have made the Huracán a success: aspirated 610 HP, 5.2 litre, V10 engine; 7-speed gearbox with double clutch; hybrid chassis in aluminum and carbon fibre; a power/weight ratio of only 2.33 kilograms per hp and breathtaking performance: 0 to 100kph in 3.2 seconds and a maximum speed of over 325kph.
The interior gets some mild revisions.“L63” logos and white stitching differentiate the Avio from the regular Huracan. Upholstery is also different; seats are covered in a combination black leather with Alcantara that have laser-engraved hexagonal motif.
It comes with new 2016 model year technical features including "cylinder on demand" in combination with "stop start", and a new electronically controlled set-up for further improved driving behaviour.
