SHAH ALAM: A total of 20 lucky Toyota owners and their partners recently won the grand prizes of an all-expense paid five-day/four-night trip to Tokyo.
The winners, who will also visit the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, had joined the Toyota Buy & Win contest which ran from May 1, 2015 until June 30, 2015.
The Tokyo Motor Show will run from October 29 to November 8, 2015.
Of the 20 winners, 10 of them had bought a Vios, four a Hilux, with the remaining six winners split equally between the Camry Hybrid and the Corolla Altis.
The winners came from all over Malaysia including one from Sabah, three from Sarawak, and five from the Klang Valley.
To qualify, contestants had to purchase a Toyota model and register their vehicles before June 30.
Another 200 new Toyota owners were also rewarded with an iPhone 6 Plus.
A total of 12,700 entries were received for the contest.
Among the winners was Chan Yuet Leng, who had bought a Vios in Petaling Jaya.
“I was very surprised to learn that I had won such a big prize," said Chan.
Mohd Ramlan from Kelantan Motor who had bought a Hilux pick-up said, “Together with my wife Zubaidah Jali, we would like to express our appreciation to Toyota for giving us this opportunity to visit Tokyo for five days.”
