It did not say what that car could be but we can hazard some guesses.
It could be the hybrid Sian Spyder or track car SCV12.
The Sian is Lambo's most powerful production supercar to date.
Unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Sian boasts 819hp. It is based on the Aventador but uses a hybrid powertrain. It rockets from 0 to 100kph in 2.8 seconds for a top speed of 350kph.
On the other hand, Lamborghini could have the SCV12 in mind for launch since it had previously confirmed that it would happen around this time. The SCV12 is able to crank out over 830hp and the engine can produce more power the faster the car goes, using aerodynamic supercharging. It also helps that its chassis is made of lightweight carbon fibre.
The SCV12 benefits from Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s GT motorsport expertise, using its racing experience to produce increased aerodynamic efficiency and higher downforce levels than a GT3 car.
The unveiling of the mystery car will take place at 6pm CEST on July 8 (midnight on July 9 in Malaysia).
