PETALING JAYA: RON95 and RON97 petrol prices remain unchanged for August.
However, diesel has gone up 10 sen per litre. Diesel is now priced at RM1.70 per litre from RM1.60 per litre. The prices of RON97 is RM2.10 per litre while RON95 is at RM1.75 per litre.
The prices have been confirmed by Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Alang Zari Ishak when contacted by The Star.
The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry decided to set the prices of petrol and diesel on a managed float system from Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
