Pro-Drive is a combination of reformulated higher quality base diesel from Petronas’ refinery and uniquely formulated chemistries designed for the advance common-rail diesel engine.
Petronas partnered with IVECO, an Italian industrial vehicle manufacturing company, to devise a winning formula for the Petronas De Rooy IVECO team competing in the Dakar Rally.

“Petronas’ involvement in the Dakar Rally has provided us a platform to study the requirements of the latest high performance common-rail direct-injection diesel-powered vehicles and continously improve our products to meet even the most extreme driving conditions.
“The launch of the Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 with Pro-Drive reflects our commitment to this continous improvement, and benefit our cutomers,” said PDB managing director and chief executive officer, Datuk Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus at the launch event.
Also present was PDB head of marketing, retail business division, Abang Jimmy Abang Mordian and local celebrities, Fizo Omar, Kamal Adli and Fadzil Zahari.
The new diesel is currently available at 58 selected Petronas stations and expansion plans are underway to increase the availability to 155 stations in the near future.
