PETALING JAYA: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has reopened its food court dining areas along the highways it operates.

In a statement Thursday (Feb 11), the highway concessionair said that during the movement control order period, all facilities at the rest and service areas (R&R) and lay-bys such as public restrooms and surau are open 24-hours.

"Restaurants, stalls and mobile food trucks, including convenience stores, are operating from 6am to 10pm.

"As such, PLUS advises all customers to comply with the standard operations procedures (SOPs) which allow only two persons per dining table with 1m physical distancing when stopping over to have their meals at the respective areas," it said.

It also advised all highway customers to adhere to the standard safety SOPs of wearing face masks, registering on the MySejahtera App, checking temperatures at the designated points and keeping a safe distance of 1m apart when lining up for food or using highway facilities such as the R&Rs and other public places during this period.

"Customer safety and comfort is key to PLUS and we recognise that local community businesses are the engine of the economy hence we hope any of our customers using the highway can support our business partners at the R&Rs.

"Additionally, we are using technology to help our business partners to take orders via a pre-order function in the PLUS app," it said, adding that to view the R&R business partner offers or to enjoy pre-order meals at selected R&Rs, customers can do so via the PLUS app or visit https://orderdisini.plus.com.my/ or or PLUS Malaysia's official Facebook page for more information on pre-orders.

The PLUS App can be downloaded for free through the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iPhone users.
