Proton runs child seat safety campaign

PETALING JAYA: In a child seat safety campaign, Proton recently presented car child seats to three early bird customers, in tandem with the current Festive Promotions which is being held till May 31, 2017.

The presentation ceremony was held at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, Selangor.

The child seat safety campaign was initiated by Proton to highlight the importance of child seat use in cars for appropriate protection and safety.

Customers can buy a certified child safety seat with Isofix (ECE R44/04 compliant) worth RM1,000 for RM299, with any purchase of a Proton car.

Meanwhile, in Proton's Experience the Drive contest, there are RM7,000 in prizes to be won each month, comprising two weekly winners of petrol cards worth RM500 each and a monthly winner of RM3,000 cash.

Customers just need to book a slot to test drive a Proton car via MyProton mobile app at a preferred place and time or visit any Proton authorised outlets or roadshow locations with test drive availability.

Write a creative caption of the drive experience in not more than 20 words to stand a chance to win the weekly and monthly prizes.

Proton's Experience the Drive contest encourages test drives of Proton cars, in order for interested buyers to get to know about the features in the cars especially on active and safety features that gave the cars safety ratings of 4 and 5 stars, ANCAP and ASEAN NCAP respectively.

For April, the winners were Pasiman @ Clarence Tatu, from Sabah (monthly winner) and Shahrizal Shafii, from Kedah (weekly winner), and Izyan Nadirah Dzulkifli, from Selangor (weekly winner).

Pasiman received RM3,000 cash at a Proton outlet in Sabah whilst the weekly winners, Shahrizal and Izyan, received petrol cards worth RM500 each at the ceremony at The Curve.
