Stunt driver drives Subaru WRX STI down bobsled run

ST MORITZ: It has never been done, so it should be done. That’s probably what stunt driver Mark Higgins was thinking.

This two-minute clip showed him careening down the infamous Olympic bobsled run in Switzerland, and at one point he nearly flipped the car over at a hairpin bend.

The all-wheel drive WRX STI has a 2.5-litre engine producing 300 PS which allows it to sprint from 0-100kph in 5.2s. Top speed is 255kph.

Higgins is a rally driver and used to work as a stunt double for Daniel Craig in some of the most arduous James Bond driving scenes.
