KUALA LUMPUR: A gang of thieves stealthily climbed over a fence at a workshop near Salak South here and made off with RM2mil in luxury vehicles, including a Bentley and a Porsche.

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Zainuddin Ahmad said the theft occured at around 9.15am on Sunday at the workshop along Jalan Empat, off Jalan Chan Sow Lin.

“The stolen cars are a Bentley Continental Supersport, Range Rover Evoque, Audi A5, Toyota Vellfire and Porsche,” he said yesterday.

“Based on the CCTV footage, more than five suspects are believed to be involved in the theft,” he added.

The suspects, he said, apparently climbed over the fence and pried open a drawer to steal the keys to the cars.

“They then drove off in the cars, exiting by the front gate,” SAC Zainuddin said.

He urged anyone with information to contact 03-2115 9999 or visit the nearest police station.
