PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia is expanding the care for Honda cars beyond after-sales service by introducing the first-ever authorised Ultra Body Coating for all its models.
Honda Malaysia said the product would help maintain car body paint finish without voiding the paint warranty. It said the product offers the hardest glass-based coating in the industry (9H Rating) to protect the paint and colour on car body surfaces from the effects of heat, UV rays, iron dust, bird droppings, tar and small stones.
The coating by Honda Access is made of a glass-based material with lubricating function that allows for easier maintenance and effective anti-fouling to further protect the body paint.
Applying it on a car once results in a smooth and glossy body surface for up to three years. The coating is tested and approved by Honda Access in Japan, an authorised genuine brand for Honda accessories.
Honda Malaysia is offering the Ultra Body Coating at a promotional price of RM2,880 with three years' warranty. Price is inclusive of labour and GST. The package also includes free maintenance every six months in the first year. Only if necessary, the third maintenance onwards will be charged, said the company. The warranty is valid only with annual check-ups.
Honda customers who are interested in using the product can send their cars to the nearest authorised dealership for the treatment.
The coating service is available from today except in Langkawi, Labuan, Miri, Sibu and Bintulu.
