KUALA LUMPUR: The first stand-alone Volkswagen Body and Paint centre has officially been added to the German carmaker's Malaysian network.
The new centre, operated by Wing Hin Autohaus, provides a 12-month warranty on all paint jobs performed, which are, in addition to repairs, in accordance and compliance to Volkswagen Group Malaysia's standards as well as JPJ and PUSPAKOM.
The new Wing Hin Volkswagen Body and Paint centre operates from Monday to Saturday from 8.00am to 5.30pm and is equipped with specific tools and equipment that include a chassis realignment machine with a computerized chassis measuring repair system and spray booths with infra-red heaters that control temperature and humidity to ensure a dust free environment.
Additionally, a 50,967 square feet Volkswagen 3S (sales, service, spare parts) centre, also operated by Wing Hin, is available just around the corner with 20 service bays that are manned by 15 trained specialists.
The 3S centre also provides services that include minor and major body repairs, chassis realignment, genuine parts, windscreen replacements, body spray and paint jobs as well as assisting Volkswagen owners with insurance claims.
It is advised that Volkswagen owners send their vehicles to an authorized Body and Paint Centre to ensure that only genuine parts and compliant services are carried out to their vehicles to ensure that their warranties are intact.
