KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen dealerships nationwide will be hosting a Passat Elegance weekend sales event this weekend.
It will be held from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
This Passat Elegance sales event will take place at all authorised showrooms nationwide, and online on the respective social media channels of all Volkswagen dealerships. The respective dealerships will be making full use of their social media channels to share detailed introduction and walkthroughs of various models to customers.
Customers can also send in their questions and interact with the sales personnel via Facebook Live.
Customers who place a booking on the Passat Elegance during the event will get an additional RM2,000 rebate on top of ongoing rebates, giving them a total of RM4,000 in savings. This additional rebate is applicable to the full Passat range that consists of the Passat Elegance, Passat UNITED and the soon-to-be-launched Passat R-Line.
The Passat Elegance features a redesign of the exterior and interior, improved connectivity and updated lighting signatures. It comes with a new 2.0TSI turbocharged engine paired and a new and improved 7-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG) that produces an output of 187hp and 320Nm of torque. It is priced at RM181,856 with the sales tax exemption until Dec 31.
The Passat UNITED is fitted with accessories worth RM12,000 which includes two unique Volkswagen Original Accessories - dynamic wheel hub caps with a self-levelling logo that stays upright while the car is in motion; and LED door lights that projects the Volkswagen logo when the front doors are opened.
It also comes with aluminium sports pedals and side scuff plates, new 19” Verona alloy wheels, VW Tint, UNITED emblem and a HELIX 300W Soundbar. The Passat UNITED is priced at RM193,856.64 until Dec 31.
For those interested in the other models, Volkswagen is offering an additional RM1,000 rebate on top of ongoing promotions for the Vento, Golf R-Line, Tiguan, Tiguan Allspace R-Line and Highline and Arteon R-Line.
