KUALA LUMPUR: It's official, Volkswagen Group Malaysia has announced that all 250 units of its limited edition Beetle have been sold since their respective official appearances.

The limited edition Beetle Club, seen last month at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015, was unveiled with 50 units available, but as of late, it seems that all of them have been spoken for.

The Beetle Club edition, priced on the road with GST without insurance at RM152,888 and imported from Mexico, came equipped with 17-inch Ravenna alloy wheels, chrome strips, leather sports seats as well as "Club" decals, steering wheel and side sills.

As for the Beetle Bug Edition, similarly priced at RM146,888, it came with genuine Volkswagen "Bug" side sills, exclusive racing stripes and "Bug" letterings.

“With every limited edition, Volkswagen aims to engage and excite Beetle fans. With that said, fans and customers should keep an eye out for the next limited edition which could be coming soon,” said Volkswagen Group Malaysia managing director Armin Keller.
