PETALING JAYA: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia have announced the implementation of the Mercedes-Benz Star Shield safety protocol programme during the CMCO period in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor from Oct 14 to Oct 27, 2020.

It states that all Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers nationwide will remain open for business as usual during this period adhering to all guidelines set by the government.

All test drives, routine service and maintenance and/or repairs will be carried out as usual with stringent SOPs in place.

Service24h Roadside Assistance will remain operational for emergency breakdown and technical issues.

The Mercedes-Benz Star Shield programme is a safety protocol for our dealers and customers. It consists of a comprehensive safety plan that includes the provision of masks and hand sanitizers, cleaning and sanitization of showroom cars and common areas, temperature checks and limited customers per entry.

In order to minimize social contact, the Mercedes-Benz Star Shield also includes initiatives such as the Drop & Go, Door-to-door and Express Service.

The health, welfare, and safety of employees and customers continue to remain a top priority and customers are encouraged to book their service or test-drives online and follow SOPs at all times.
