PENANG: Auto Bavaria recently delivered the all-electric BMW i3s to its first customer in Malaysia.
The first-ever i3s was presented to Lim Chau Wei at a vehicle handover ceremony in conjunction with the unveiling of two BMW i chargers at Hotel G Kelawai here. The chargers occupy 256 square feet at Level B1.
Auto Bavaria Penang dealer principal Wong Loke Win said the company has the ability to fully support the needs of BMW i customers. He said more chargers would be installed nationwide.
“Our collaboration with Hotel G Kelawai Penang is our third BMW i charging facility in the northern region after Hotel St. Giles and Queensbay Mall. We are optimistic with the future of the BMW i brand in Malaysia,” said Wong.
Among those present to witness the handover were Auto Bavaria Penang sales head Wong Kim Kooi and G Hotel general manager Michael Hanratty.
Auto Bavaria is the largest BMW dealership in Malaysia.
