Big thrills for MINI fans at festival
By CARSIFU | 25 July 2023KUALA LUMPUR: MINIfest 2023, hosted by MINI Malaysia, celebrated the brand's unique essence with a theme of Big Love, Big Fun on July 22.
The event featured activities, entertainment, and a historic display of MINI vehicles, allowing MINI fans or MINIacs of all ages to immerse themselves in the brand's spirit.
MINI expressed gratitude to the public and customers for their confidence in the brand, making Malaysia the fastest-growing market globally in 2022.
As of June 2023, MINI has sold 1,000 units of vehicles, the highest in a 6-month period.
The event at Sentul Depot here attracted over 2,300 MINIacs, offering showcases, test-drives, live entertainment, and sustainable retail options.
The event featured popular carnival games, such as the MINI Slingshot, and a car boot sale featuring unique trinkets from brand partners and local vendors. Attendees also won prizes from MINI and its partners through lucky draws.
MINIfest 2023 included a special MINI goods booth, a customising station, family workshops, and a play area for children.
The MINI Garage showcased the MINI Classic, 3-Door R53, R56, Coupe R58, Countryman R60, and Paceman JCW R61 as well as the history and progress of the brand.
MINI Electric Showcase educated customers about electric vehicle (EV) convenience in Malaysia, partnering with JomCharge.
The booth provided insights to reduce EV ownership anxiety and provided information on charging facilities and apps. Attendees also had the chance to test-drive the 3-Door Hatch Cooper SE and Countryman, showcasing their unique features and performance.
