Castrol powers local riders at Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2020
By JAY WONG | 17 July 2020KUALA LUMPUR: Castrol Malaysia announced today that it will be sponsoring two young riders in the WIRA category.
The riders will be competing in this year’s Malaysian Cub Prix Championship under the Castrol POWER1 flagship brand are Muhammad Harith Haziq bin Zamri and Allan Harris bin Herman.
The two Castrol sponsored riders are aged 16 and have participated in the 2018 and 2019 Malaysian Cub Prix Championships.
The duo has also participated in other notable races such as the Malaysian Superbike Championship and the Asia Road Racing Championship to gain greater exposure.
“We are very excited to be part of Team Castrol this year. Thank you for believing in us and giving us the confidence to go out there and show everyone what we can do,” said Harith.
“This is the first time we’re racing on Team Castrol, and it’s been nothing but a positive experience so far. Looking forward to winning!” said an eager Allan.
Castrol has a celebrated heritage in the world of motorsports globally.
With this latest sponsorship initiative, the company hopes to be more active in the local motorsports scene while connecting with young enthusiasts of the sport.
