SHAH ALAM: The limited edition Isuzu D-Max X-Series is aimed at those who want an urban sports concept pick-up truck.
Price tags are RM118,000 for the 2.5-litre variant and RM124,000 for the 3.0-litre variant (without insurance).
Only 210 units are offered (90 units of the 2.5-litre and 120 units of the 3.0-litre variant).
Two colours, namely Silky Pearl White and Stallion Black Metallic, are available.
Standard kit includes a 360-degree Around View Monitor (AVM) system, built-in Touch N Go toll card reader, and honeycomb shape stitched leather seats.
The AVM makes use of four exterior cameras, in order to have a bird’s eye view for increased safety.
This bird’s eye view helps the driver to see objects surrounding the vehicle.
As for the built-in toll card reader, the Touch N Go card needs to be slotted into the reader which is located inside the arm rest.
It works just like an in-car electronic tag whereby the screen will show the card balance and it will release a beeping sound once the card balance is below RM10.
Another feature is a welcome light which comes on upon unlocking the car - a white spotlight is activated and projected onto the ground for 30 seconds.
In the cabin, there are red LED interior accent lights and a LED illuminator rocker plate.
Exterior upgrades include athletic front and rear skirting, with aero sport bars as well as a red Isuzu logo badge at the rear tailgate with the X-Series emblem.
There's also a grey front grille with a red Isuzu logo which enhances its sporty appeal.
The D-Max X-Series also carries an exclusive body decal.
A sporty stripe design has been added on the bonnet and tailgate.
