Jan 2-8: Fuel prices keep upward momentum
By THE STAR | 01 January 2021PETALING JAYA: The retail prices of RON95 and RON97 petrol are set to go up by four sen per litre from Jan 2 to Jan 8, says the Finance Ministry.
In a statement today, the Finance Ministry said the price of RON97 will be RM2.14 per litre, an increase by four sen from RM2.10 per litre.
RON95 will also increase by four sen from RM1.80 per litre to RM1.84 per litre while for diesel, it will increase by three sen at RM2.01 per litre from RM1.98 per litre previously.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was re-introduced on Jan 5, 2019, under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.
