LONDON: Mazda UK has announced the sale of the MX-5 Kizuna special edition model.
Limited to 250 units in the UK, the model arrives in dealerships next month.
Based on the 1.5-litre Exclusive-Line Roadster, the £30,265 (RM169,000) Kizuna features a stand-out design that includes Deep Crystal Blue or Machine Grey paint matched to a blue fabric hood.
Leather seats are in Light Stone Nappa leather to complement the exterior colour and 16-inch bright alloy wheels.
Across more than three decades on sale, special edition MX-5 models have proved popular with sports car enthusiasts looking for a car with unique details, extra equipment and an added dose of exclusivity.
Kizuna (meaning "enduring bond" ) follows the popular tradition of limited edition MX-5s. With the Kizuna 170 cars will be in Machine Grey with the remaining 80 cars in Deep Crystal Blue.
The Kizuna's Skyactiv-G engine produces 132 PS and it is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
It goes on sale alongside the 10-variant MX-5 line-up in the UK.
