Mercedes wants you to buy your next car from home
By DPA | 07 February 2021STUTTGART: Customers can now buy a Mercedes-Benz car without ever setting foot in a dealership.
Instead of sitting in the showroom signing paperwork, clients can use a mobile phone or tablet and a secure digital solution to buy their next luxury set of wheels.
The solution is being introduced in Germany before a roll-out across other markets. The digital signature is ideal for people who would rather not visit a local showroom because of the ongoing pandemic.
The digital signature replaces a more complicate system which relied on an app and required buyers to sign three times.
Volkswagen recently began offering a similar remote buying service in the United States.
