Suzuki's ultra-quick Hayabusa now comes in all white
By DPA | 13 December 2021BERLIN: A white motorcycle in the rear view mirror might mean the police are behind you - unless it's the latest version of Suzuki's Hayabusa hyperbike, which now comes in white overalls.
The brilliant pearl white edition joins the existing black and orange and matt silver and red models launched in 2020 and is sure to prove popular. It sold out in India earlier this year.
The third-generation Hayabusa- the name means peregrine falcon in Japanese - gets a host of gadgetry.
Features include 10 lean angle-sensitive traction control modes, lean angle-sensitive ABS, a bi-directional quick-shifter, cruise control and a speed limiter.
The bike has three stages of launch control which allow the rider to get the most out of the re-jigged engine which has new pistons, conrods, crankshaft and camshaft. The Hayabusa can now dash from 0 to 100kph in just 3.1 seconds.
The new white bodywork of the Hayabusa is sharper and more angular than before with chrome trim and metallic stellar blue accents.
The bike comes with a 190 horsepower-rated 1.3-litre engine and will touch 300kph in standard trim although it is governed down to 295kph in some markets. The white Hayabusa retails at US$18,599 (RM79,000).
