UMW Toyota Motor ready to help customers affected by floods
By CARSIFU | 20 December 2021SHAH ALAM: Toyota distributor UMW Toyota Motor is the next automaker to respond to the flood situation, saying it is offering a special Toyota Flood Assist Program to its customers affected by floods in various parts of the country.
Its offer of help came following Perodua's for its customers last night.
The Toyota Flood Assist Program is providing a 25 percent discount on total bill inclusive of parts and labour charges, free towing service, evaluation and quotation on expected repair cost which includes parts removal.
“While nothing can fully compensate the loss and distress suffered by those affected by the flood, we hope that our Toyota Flood Assist Program will provide some sort of relief to our fellow Malaysians," said UMW Toyota Motor president Ravindran K.
UMW Toyota Motor is also offering a 0% interest payment plan for customers who qualify.
All Toyota service centres and body & paint shops will remain open to cater for an expected surge in demand.
In addition, Toyota owners can contact Toyota’s 24SEVEN Road Assist for further assistance if needed. The service is open to all Toyota owners and runs 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
For assistance, flood-affected Toyota owners can call the Toyota toll free line: 1-800-8-869682.
