FROM the moment I walked up to the Honda ADV350, I was reminded why it stands out in a sea of conservative scooters.
I like how the sharp front fascia, layered body panels and tall adjustable windscreen give it a purposeful, almost mini-adventure-bike stance.
The beak-style nose isn’t decorative, it reinforces the ADV350’s rugged intent.
I also appreciate that Honda has resisted the temptation to over style this model, focusing instead on thoughtful updates that enhance daily usability.
When I sat on the ADV350, the upright riding position felt immediately natural.

I liked how the wide handlebar gave me confidence at low speeds, especially when filtering through traffic.
The 795mm seat height worked well for me, and the long floorboard allowed me to shift my feet during longer rides.
I made full use of the underseat storage compartment, which easily accommodated a helmet and daily essentials.
I appreciated the addition of an under-seat light one of those small features that only becomes valuable when you actually need it.
The much-discussed 5-inch TFT display is a highlight.
I found it crisp, legible and well laid out, even under direct sunlight.

Bluetooth connectivity allowed me to pair my phone for calls and navigation, which proved genuinely useful during longer rides.
The interface is intuitive and avoids the clutter often found on feature-heavy dashboards.
In everyday riding, I found the braking performance reassuring and predictable.
The front and rear disc setup with dual-channel ABS delivered consistent stopping power without abruptness.
I also welcomed the auto-cancelling indicators, which reduced mental load in busy traffic and long highway stretches.

The ADV350’s suspension remains one of its defining strengths.
The upside-down front forks and twin rear shocks handled uneven surfaces with impressive composure.
The remote preload adjustment for the rear shocks made it easier for me to dial in the setup, especially when carrying extra gear.
The ride felt firm but controlled, striking a good balance between comfort and stability.
The 330cc single-cylinder engine delivers smooth, usable performance.
Around town, the CVT system keeps everything effortless.

On the highway, the ADV350 surprised me with its stability and willingness to stretch its legs.
During my ride up the North–South Expressway to Tanjung Malim, I throttled it out and saw an indicated top speed of 142kph.
What impressed me wasn’t just the number, but how composed the scooter felt at speed.
It tracked straight, resisted crosswinds well, and never felt nervous, even when held near its upper limits.
The windscreen provided reasonable protection, though some turbulence was still present around my helmet at higher speeds.

But one must be mindful, at top speed you need to anchor your weight giving you the planted feeling.
With its 11.7-litre fuel tank and strong fuel efficiency, the ADV350 proved capable of covering long distances without frequent fuel stops, making interstate rides far more relaxed than I initially expected.
In corners, the ADV350 feels neutral and predictable.
I found it easy to tip into bends and maintain a clean line, even on less-than-perfect surfaces.
The traction control worked subtly in the background, adding reassurance without interrupting the ride.

While it’s not a sporty machine, I enjoyed pushing it through sweeping corners with confidence.
Overall, I see the 2025 Honda ADV350 as one of the most complete scooters available today.
It blends distinctive design, useful technology, real-world comfort and understands with the realities of Malaysian roads.
After riding it hard on the highway and living with it in daily conditions, I believe the ADV350, priced at RM33,999, delivers on its promise, as an adventure-styled scooter that genuinely works in the real world.
