BANGKOK: BMW Group Thailand brought in the 3.0-litre diesel quad-turbocharged X7 M50d at the 40th Bangkok International Motor Show 2019.

Priced at nearly 9 million baht (RM1.156 million), the largest BMW X model has three rows of seats, massive 22-inch wheels, and air suspension with automatic elf-levelling.

Its 6-cylinder M Performance TwinPower Turbo engine, with four turbochargers, and mated to a 8-speed Steptronic transmission, produces 400hp at 4,400rpm and 760Nm of torque at 2,000 – 3,000rpm.

Fitted as standard on the BMW X7 M50d is the M Sport differential at the rear axle, which brings electronically controlled locking.

The X7 on display at the motor show has Merino leather upholstery, four-zone automatic climate control, a three-section panoramic glass roof, and ambient lighting including the Welcome Light Carpet and Dynamic Interior Light.
