BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport price set at RM487K

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Group Malaysia today announced the finalised pricing of the X5 xDrive50e M Sport plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

The locally assembled SUV is priced at RM486,800 including sales and service tax (on the road, without insurance). The company previewed the model variant more than a week ago, citing an estimated price of RM530,000.

The X5 is sold with the complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience which includes BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, and BMW Service Online.

There is also BMW Service & Repair Inclusive which consists of 5-year extended warranty and service package, which is priced at RM41,300.

With the easy drive financing plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the X5 can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM6,014 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure) after RM10,000 easy drive cash rebate until March 31.

The X5 features an enhanced PHEV powertrain delivering a combined output of 489hp, as well as an upgraded 700Nm of torque.

The combined power from the 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine and the potent electric motor enables the X5 to achieve a 4.8-second century sprint.

Additionally, the PHEV's electric capabilities receive a significant boost, providing an electric range of up to 110km (WLTP) and an improved 7.4 kW charging capacity, allowing it to reach a full charge from 0-100% in 4.5 hours.
