2020 Bangkok International Motor Show postponed to April

BANGKOK: The Covid-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak has resulted in the 41th Bangkok International Motor Show to be postponed to April 20– May 3, 2020.
The motor show, to be held at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Bangkok, was originally scheduled to take place from March 25 to April 05.
The new flu epidemic has also resulted in the Beijing Auto Show being postponed and the cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show.
The Bangkok show is among the top motor shows in the world, and has proven to generate strong sales for the Thai auto industry over the years.
In 2019, the 40th edition of the Bangkok show saw a strong rise of 15% in the total number of vehicle bookings to 49,278 units.
The vehicles booked consisted of 37,769 cars; 5,343 motorcycle and 6,166 electric vehicles or EVs.
The 2019 edition featured 33 automotive brands and 14 motorcycle brands.
The 12-day motor show welcomed 1.6 million visitors, which was similar to the visitor count in 2018, according to organiser Grand Prix International Public Company Limited.
