SHAH ALAM: Bermaz Motor has launched the 2024 updated Mazda2, which has a more distinctive, fresh look and new cabin trim.
Imported from Thailand, the updated Mazda2 is priced at RM108,670 on-the-road without insurance.
Adding another RM500 gets you the Soul Red Crystal paint job.
The ACTIV-e Film window film costs another RM1,900.
The Mazda2 features a more distinctive new grille from Mazda’s signature wing and a sleeker bumper design that comes in a black honeycomb grille with a red accent and 16-inch Black and chrome Alloy wheels.
It also has headlights with Auto On/Off function, Rain Sensing Windshield Wipers and Autofold Outer Rearview Mirror.
The Mazda2 is equipped with an Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror, which automatically reduces the glare of headlights from vehicles at the rear, and Cruise Control, which allows the driver to maintain a set speed without using the accelerator.
The dashboard trims are now Black, while the seat material features Black Leatherette and suede with Red Stitching.
Meanwhile, the specifications of the Mazda2 1.5L High Sedan and Hatchback remain unchanged, which include front LED headlamps, Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, which is accessible through its 7-inch Infotainment System, as well as the i-Activsense advanced driver assist systems.
The colour line-up of the Mazda2 includes Snowflake White Pearl, Soul Red Crystal, Platinum Quartz, Polymetal Gray (Hatchback variant only) and newly added colours AirStream Blue (Hatchback variant only) and newly added colour Aero Gray (Sedan variant only), making a total of 6 colours available.
It comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty and 5-year free maintenance inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants.
Both manufacturer's warranty and free maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
