KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd has introduced its first on-and-off adventure bike – the Yamaha Tenere 700 (CKD) at RM69,988 (excluding insurance and registration fees).
The Tenere 700 model is powered by a liquid-cooled 689cc in-line 2-cylinder engine with a 270-degree crankshaft and mounted in a lightweight body.
Special features on this new world explorer include switchable ABS to on/off, a five-inch TFT colour meter with two graphic themes, slim 16L fuel tank, long travel adjustable inverted front fork and Y-Connect connectivity.
The Yamaha Tenere 700 will be available in only Icon Blue.
In addition, each unit will get a Yamaha Disc Lock worth RM100.
